All our subsidence claims are dealt with by Roger Burnham BSc MRICS FCILA. Roger is both a Chartered Loss Adjuster and a Chartered Surveyor and has specialised in subsidence with over 25 years experience.
Prior to the formation of Williams Pitt, Roger managed the north region subsidence department of a major form of loss adjusters and pioneered what is now known as ‘project managed’ subsidence claims. Unlike the vast majority of loss adjusters, Roger handles all subsidence cases himself from the beginning through to the end. We do not sub-contract any aspect of the claims process. As a consequence Roger has an unparalleled reputation and has been personally able to attract subsidence work from most major UK insurers. Roger continues to achieve excellent results for the discerning insurers and underwriters that still demand his level of expertise. The value of Roger’s involvement can best be demonstrated by the results he has achieved for one of our insurer clients. Roger has been appointed to handle more than 200 subsidence cases during the last three years. The average claim cost inclusive of our fees, site investigations and monitoring, has been just £1200.
